What is sleep training?
At Sleep Solutions by Cara, sleep training refers to the process of making changes to the way you respond to your child with the goal of improving their sleep.
How does the process work?
Step 1: Getting to know you
Fill out the initial assessment, which helps us to get to know you and your child
Step 2: We chat
After filling out the assessment, we will schedule a 60 minute Zoom call where we will discuss your family’s sleep needs
Step 3: Creating a plan
During our call, we will develop a unique sleep plan, to be sent within 24 hours of our call
Step 4: Get Support
Upon receipt of your plan, you will have access to our support as you navigate your sleep coaching journey. Support type and length varies based on your individual needs.
Will there be crying involved?
Improving a child's sleep often involves adjusting bedtime routines and habits, which can be challenging for your little one. It’s natural for them to express their discomfort through crying as they adapt to these changes. While I can’t guarantee that there won’t be any crying during the sleep training process, I promise that we will develop a solution that feels right for both you and your family.
For many parents, the most challenging aspect of sleep training is the prospect of hearing their baby cry. It's a natural concern and can be emotionally difficult for the parent. But don’t worry- we’re here to support you throughout the whole process.

The #1 goal at Sleep Solutions by Cara is to develop plans that truly cater to each individual family. To do this, we take many factors into account such as your family’s goals, parenting style, and child’s age and temperament.
